The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has denied the information that the suspected of terrorism are citizens of the Russian Federation.
“A number of Telegram channels today announced that the four suspects are Russian citizens. This information is not true. All of them are foreign citizens,” the statement of the department said.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and FSB is checking the grounds for the arrestees’ stay in Russia, as well as clarifying their actual residence addresses.
