When the shooting started, 61-year-old Yelena, who was evacuated from the building, was sitting in the dressing room with her daughter and one of her acquaintances. According to her, at first the spectators thought it was fireworks, but then they began to run away. Many rushed to the stage because there was an emergency exit from that side. Their way was blocked by one of the terrorists who shot at those running in that direction.

One of the visitors managed to neutralize the terrorist. He jumped on the criminal, took the machine gun from his hand, hit the terrorist. Thanks to the man, dozens of people were able to escape through the emergency exit. Yelena does not know if the man survived or not, because after leaving the hall, shots were fired again.
