Azerbaijani crimes in Nerkin Hand, including the positions from which our servicemen were killed. Former MP Arman Tatoyan reported.
“1. Nerkin Hand is surrounded on 3 sides by 25 illegal armed positions of Azerbaijan, 15 of which are in the territory of the village, that is, in Armenia.
- Azerbaijani armed positions, from where on 13.02.2024, four RA servicemen were killed and 1 wounded in the territory of Armenia.
- The greatest distance from Azerbaijani illegal armed positions in Nerikn Hand, on the territory of Armenia, is about 2,060 meters (from the border to the interior of the country).
- The nearest Azerbaijani illegal armed positions to the Nerkin Hand school is 769 meters.
- Sources of drinking water in Nerikn Hand, St. Hripsime church and cemetery are under Azerbaijani occupation. People are forced to drink water from the river.
- Gardens, pastures, grasslands and arable lands are under Azerbaijani occupation in Nerikn Hand, cattle breeding has disappeared.
- An area of 2,700 hectares is under Azerbaijani occupation in Nerikn Hand, of which:
- 2,400 hectares are specially protected lands.
- 170 hectares are forest lands.
- 130 hectares are communal lands.
In addition to 2,700 hectares, more than 1,000 hectares of land is in the danger zone, where it is either impossible to carry out any agricultural or other type of work, or these works have become significantly more difficult due to real dangers to life.
