According to the Agency for Protection of Personal Data, Telegram has a fake bot called /social benefit for a child/, which promises to pay 50,000 drams to every family with a child.
“This is a fraud, the purpose of which is to steal personal and bank data.
The bot will offer to choose a bank and fill in the internet banking login and password you have in the given bank on the fake website.
By filling in the username and password on that site, you will pass them on to fraudsters.
We advise not to follow the instructions of the bot and refrain to fill in data on that fake website,” the message says.
