Financial transparency and accountability is one of the strengths of Armenia’s mining industry. This is mentioned in one of the analyzes presented in the development strategy of the mining sector.

Armenia is member of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITA). It is a global standard promoting open and accountable management of natural resources.

This standard covers public information on the use of subsoil and other permits and contracts of the sector, beneficiaries, financial and legal regulations, released products, revenues from the sector to the state budget, share of the sector in the economy, including employment, which is available to the entire public and international investors.
