440 people applied for asylum in the Republic of Armenia, in the first half of 2023.
According to the data of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are 2 citizens of Azerbaijan and 10 citizens of Turkey in the list. The application of one of the citizens of Azerbaijan was terminated; the second one was not mentioned.
Two out of 10 Turkish citizens’ applications were terminated, one was rejected, and the progress of the other applications is not mentioned.
By the way, Armenia is the 25th among the 117 safest countries in the world.
