Observers of the European Union Civilian Mission in Armenia (EUMA) patrol some 3800km of border areas of Armenia and Azerbaijan from multiple hubs. This is stated in the Twitter microblog of the Mission.
“As civilian unarmed mission, EUMA mandate is to report on the security situation and gather verified information on the ground in the aftermath of incidents. Like e.g. in Yeraskh this Friday,” the statement read.
