On 7 November, at 12:25 p.m., an alert was received from the “Vedu” Medical Center to the Ararat Police Department that a 32-year-old resident of Vosketap village was admitted for medical treatment with a gunshot wound.

The Police informed.

The officers of the Ararat Regional Police Department and the Ararat Department went to Vosketap and jointly found out that the incident happened half an hour before the alarm at the village’s auto service point. The victim and his 27-year-old co-villager, who is an employee of a car service station, had argued, and it was the latter that caused the bodily injury with his illegally kept gun.

The 27-year-old man was found, arrested and taken to the department. It also turned out that after the incident, another employee of the auto service point had hidden the firearm in an unfinished building in their yard. The weapon was found.

The 27-year-old man and the person who hid the gun were taken to Vedi Investigative Department. The circumstances of the case are clarified by the preliminary examination.
