King Charles III of Great Britain accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Liz Truss. Rishi Sunak will head the Government. Previously, he had become leader of the Conservative Party on a non-alternative basis.
The leaving Prime Minister Liz Truss, in her last speech in office, called on her successor Rishi Sunak to continue providing aid to Ukraine.
“We must be able to overcome autocratic regimes, where power is concentrated in the hands of a narrow circle of people. Now more than ever, we need to help Ukraine,” she said.
