The Yerevan Council of Elders is discussing the issue of appointing Tigran Avinyanyan to the position of Deputy Mayor. After Avinyan’s speech, the Council members asked him questions. Answering the Member of the Council of Elders Davit Zakharyan’s question, which areas he will coordinate in the position of Deputy Mayor, he stated:

“They can be said to be 5. First of all, it is the coordination and supervising of the district administrations, that is, the intensive work with the district administrations at the micro level, the solutions of all the problems that are facing the district administrations.

The second block is the construction improvement block, the third block is landscaping, the fourth block is culture, and of course, taking into account my experience, the work with the government, the major work carried out with the government, where, I think, my contribution will be positive.”
