A question will be asked: is this the agenda of peace? Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during his speech in the National Assembly today, on 13 September.

“We, by adopting the peace agenda, also record and understand that it does not depend on only one subject and on the contrary, with these actions, Azerbaijan wants and actually torpedoes the peace agenda, because peace is the environment in which RA can develop, and to develop at a high pace. Peace is the environment that can ensure the security of RA and Nagorno-Karabakh,” he said.

The Prime Minister mentioned what should be done in the future.

“We must protect the territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence of the Republic of Armenia by all possible means, we must strive for peace by all possible means, trying to bring our ideas closer, and we must reform our army, our armed forces, and the security of the Republic of Armenia as quickly and effectively as possible by all possible means, to ensure and of course the improvement of mechanisms, relations and obligations in our alliance and security relations are extremely important in this context,” he said.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that on 13 September, around 00:05, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces, using artillery, mortars and UAVs, opened intense fire at the Armenian positions located in several parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at once.

In particular, the positions located in the direction of Sotk, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish and Ishkhanasar were shelled. Civilian infrastructures are also being attacked.

As of 11:00 on 13 September, according to the data confirmed by the RA Ministry of Defense, the Armenian side has 49 victims.
