The Armenian Embassy in France informs that a commemorative concert dedicated to the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be held on 23 April at 19:00 in the Palace of Versailles.
“The Armenian Genocide in Turkey (1915-1916) took place at the heart of World War I. Two-thirds of the Armenian population died as a result of planned deportations, famines and massacres by the Ottoman Empire, amounting to 1.2 million victims. 24 April has been declared a day of remembrance for this crime against humanity,” the statement said.
