MP of the “Armenia” Faction of the National Assembly Aram Vardjanyan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots,

I would like to inform you that on 25 October, 2021, the NA Inquiry Committee was established, the activity of which refers to the disgraceful problems of the judicial system that continue to this day.

During this period, I invited Gagik Jhangiryan, the Acting Chairman of the SJC, and Karen Andreasyan, the Minister of Justice, to provide information to the Inquiry Committee. Instead of answering very important questions about the activities of the Inquiry Committee, these officials simply refused to appear.

Taking into account the above-mentioned, a new chain of attacks on the judicial system, as the chairman of the Inquiry Committee, I publicly invite SJC Chairman Ruben Vardazaryan to publicly answer the questions of the Inquiry Committee. In case of a positive response to the invitation, I express my readiness to decide on a mutually acceptable day or hour.”
