“PACE accepted all amendments to the text of the resolution “Activities of Democratic Institutions in Armenia” proposed by the Armenian delegation, all the proposals of the Azerbaijani delegation were rejected.”

NA Deputy President Ruben Rubinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“During the discussion, the co-rapporteurs and the other speakers praised the democratic path and reforms chosen by Armenia.

The resolution mainly referred to the achievements of the democratic reform process in Armenia, future steps, electoral reforms, counterbalance mechanisms, judicial reforms, the general political atmosphere in the country, the situation with the media, as well as the strengthening of democratic culture in the political field.”
