Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan reports that at the moment, there is no agreement on the date of the meeting between the Armenian and Turkish special envoys.
“The possibility of holding the meeting in Moscow is being discussed,” he said.
It should be reminded that in his concluding speech on the assessment of Turkey’s foreign policy, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu touched upon the Armenian-Turkish settlement.
According to Çavuşoğlu, the meeting of the Armenian and Turkish special envoys will take place in Moscow and in that process a consultation with Azerbaijan is important.
“Both sides have appointed their special envoys. It is necessary to set venues and dates for the face-to-face meeting. It is planned to organize the first meeting in Moscow. “We want direct contacts before the first meeting,” Çavuşoğlu said.
