The Board of Trustees of Yerevan State University elected Hovhannes Hovhannisyan Rector of the University with a ratio of 12 “for”, 3 “invalid”, and 5 “against” votes.
The meeting was held behind closed doors and was attended by 20 members of the Board of Trustees, chaired by Chairman Suren Papikyan. The only candidate was the acting rector of YSU Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, he was appointed acting rector of the university on 5 August of this year.
