Kristinne Grigoryan’s candidacy for the post of Human Rights Defender nominated by the “Civil Contract” faction and proposing a candidate to the National Assembly for that post was discussed today in the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs.
The committee decided with 4 votes “for” and 3 “against”, to propose Kristinne Grigoryan’s candidacy to the National Assembly.
The representatives of the opposition factions voted “against”.
Notably, currently Grigoryan holds the post of First Deputy Minister of Justice.
