Information security expert Samvel Martirosyan writes on his Facebook page:

“For the first time, Armenia, as a state, has appeared in the list of countries that use programs to infect and spy on people’s phones in the domestic field. This was discovered by Meta-Facebook and CitizenLab. The targets are politicians and people connected with the media.

Cytrox spy software was used. I do not know who has been infected. The infection is being transmitted through fake links emulating real websites, such as youtu-be [.] Net, via text messages and messages from messengers.
