The Armenian authorities have expressed their readiness to the Russian Federation to start normalization of relations with Turkey without preconditions, after Moscow expressed its readiness to support the process. Press Secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan told TASS .

“A number of international partners, including our ally Russia, stated that they are ready to support the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations. And during the discussions with our Russian partners, we said that we are ready to normalize relations without preconditions. “If and when the process goes forward, we will inform the public about the development of events,” he said.

According to Hunanyan, the program of the Armenian Government stipulates that Armenia has always been ready to normalize relations with Turkey without preconditions. “At the same time, I want to note that there are no negotiations with Turkey at the moment,” he added.
