The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan upheld the motion to detain former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan. He was detained for 2 months.
Davit Tonoyan’s lawyer Sergey Hovhannisyan said in a conversation with journalists.
“Our expectation was that justice would be done. In any case, we must continue the struggle, a corresponding complaint will be submitted to the Criminal Court of Appeal,” the lawyer said.
