“Today, the First President of the Republic of Armenia Lenon Ter-Petrosyan hosted the former President of the Kyrgyz Republic Askar Akayev, who arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the Yerevan Slavonic University to attend a ceremony of awarding him the title of Honorary Doctor and to deliver a series of lectures.

Ter-Petrosyan and Akayev have worked closely together for about eight years, both within the scope of CIS and in bilateral relations. They are especially close due to the fact that they both came to politics from science.”
