On 19 September, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia issued a statement stating that two residents of the Kasakh community of the Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia, while traveling on the Goris-Vorotan road, deviated from the highway and appeared in the territory under Azerbaijani control.

The NSS reported.

“We would like to inform that as a result of the work carried out by the RA NSS and the Russian FSS border guards at 11:45 pm, the Azerbaijani side returned the above-mentioned persons,” the statement reads.

Earlier, the NSS reported that on 18 September, at around 9:00 pm, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia received information that on the same day, two residents of the Kasakh community of the Kotayk region of the Republic of Armenia (information is known) deviated from the highway and appeared on the Goris-Vorotan road in the territory under the control of Azerbaijan.”
