The meeting of the Council of the International Youth Democrat Union (IYDU) took place recently. Due to the epidemic, it took place online.

The Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia reported.

IYDU Board elections were held during the meeting. Lilit Beglaryan, the International Secretary of the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia, has been elected Vice-Chairman of the structure. Michael Dust from the Christian Democratic Party of Germany was elected Chairman of the IYDU, and Nick Francis from the New Democratic Party of St. Vincent & the Grenadines was elected Secretary General.

It should be noted that IYDU unites about 120 member organizations from about 80 countries. The Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia has been a full member of this international organization since 2017. “The composition of IYDU is very diverse; our active participation here is another opportunity to develop bilateral, multilateral ties with ideological political forces,” Lilit Beglaryan said.
