On 27 August, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan received the delegation led by the First Deputy Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Lieutenant General Hasan Kaloyev.

During the meeting, the issues of military security of the CSTO member states and the further development of the CSTO military component were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to some provisions aimed at improving the activities of the CSTO Joint Staff.
