The circulated information, according to which the population is supposed to be evacuated from the border zone of Tavush region, has nothing to do with reality. Tavush regional administration reported .
“By the decision of the Governor of Tavush No. 246-A of August 19, 2021, a change was made in the new edition of the evacuation plan of the population from the dangerous areas of Tavush, by which the names of the officials were replaced with the names of the positions.
No other changes were made.
“The evacuation plan of the population from the dangerous areas of Tavush operates in accordance with Article 34, Part 4 of the RA Law on Normative Legal Acts and the requirements of the RA Government Decision No. 1180-N of 18 August, 2011,” the statement reads.
