On 11 August, a monument was unveiled in the yard of school No. 100 in Yerevan in memory of Major Levon Garegin Sargsyan Deputy Commander of the Peacekeeping Brigade and Aleksander Ashot Karapetyan, a graduate of the school, who died in the 44-day war.

The RA Ministry of Defense reported.

The relatives and colleagues of the boys who fell heroically in the war and officials attended the consecration ceremony of the memorial. A corner of glory dedicated to their memory was opened in the military classroom of the school.

After the event, a tribute was paid in “Yerablur” military pantheon.
