“Armenia” Airlines launches Yerevan-Batumi flight

“Armenia” Airlines launches seasonal charter flights from Yerevan to Batumi, “Alik Media” reports, citing the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.

The airline made its first flight yesterday. Until 22 June, Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan flights will be operated once a week, on Tuesdays, and from 22 June to 15 September, twice a week.

Georgia resumed regular international flights on 1 February, 2021, after a one-year pause.

To reach Georgia by air, foreigners must have proof of complete coronavirus vaccination and a negative PCR test.

Today, the movement of trains on the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Batumi route has been restored. After a 15-month break, the first train transported passengers from Yerevan to Georgia.
