The work of the trilateral working group has stopped

Acting Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan told reporters in the National Assembly today that the work of the trilateral group of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan is not going on at the moment.

“I have stated many times that these works will be effective if the general situation is at least stable. And in this situation, in the case of these border situations, I do not think that constructive work is possible on that platform. The contacts were interrupted after the border incidents,” Mher Grigoryan said at a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.

The decision to set up a trilateral working group was announced on 11 January in Moscow during a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
