The Chief of Staff of the President of the Artsakh Republic Artak Beglaryan wrote on his Facebook page:

“Today is the hardest holiday for us since independence, but it is the same – congratulations on the day of the Armenian Army and the Defender of the Fatherland.

Our losses and pain are endless, and so are our debts and our real needs.

Yes, a lot has been done since the foundation of the Armenian statehood and the establishment of the army, but the mistakes and omissions were decisive, which led to this situation.

Now, if we really want to correct mistakes and move towards strengthening the state, then pathos and divisions will not help, instead we need smart, hard and long work based on constant self-analysis, proper assessment of environmental risks and drastic increase in the efficiency of management systems. If we succeed in that, we will deserve the kind attitude of history, if not; we will definitely find many reasons to complain about the fate of Armenians.

Congratulations and thanks to all those who have made a small contribution to the defense of the Homeland and the establishment of the Armenian Army, and we have no right to forget for a moment about our great moral debts to the martyred boys.”
