Razmik Tevonyan Governor of the RA Ararat Marz informs:

Today, information spread by well-known “opposition” circles that the Armenian authorities will soon hand over the Tigranashen community of Ararat region to Azerbaijan.
It is clear that the well-known circles, which are obsessed with coming to power again, do not hesitate to spread even the most insidious lies, thus aiming to cause panic and tension among the population. This policy once again proves the implementation of their policy of terrorizing the public with naked and false news.
Dear citizens of Ararat, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, I personally urge you not to believe the widespread misinformation. The borders of the Ararat region are guarded by the Armed Forces of Armenia, so that no community will pass under the control of the enemy, neither now nor ever. Let each of us continue to serve the Republic of Armenia in our place.”
