On 4 January President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree appointing Masis Mailyan Ambassador-at-Large. The General Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President reported.

Notably, on 4 January, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan signed a number of decrees. According to one of them, Masis Mailyan was relieved of the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic, and by another decree, Davit Babayan was appointed to the same post, resigning from the post of Advisor to the President of the Artsakh Republic.
