The Armenian community in Greece has sent humanitarian aid to help the affected by the war

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informs that on 12 December, on the initiative of a number of organizations of the Armenian community in Greece the “Armenian Blue Cross of Greece”, the “Armenian Charity Cross” and the “Armenian Relief Society” initiated efforts to support the victims of the war unleashed by the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance against Artsakh. Humanitarian aid was sent to Armenia with the support of the Greek Government and the Armenian Embassy in Greece, which included basic necessities, food and medical supplies.

The plane arrived in Armenia accompanied by the General Director of International Cooperation and Development of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, George Larissis.

Tigran Samvelyan, Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mher Mnatsakanyan, Head of the Logistics Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hamestuhi Sassounian, Member of the Central Board of the Armenian Relief Union, and Marine Hambardzumyan, Chairwoman of the Armenian Regional Department met the Humanitarian aid in Armenia.
