Chairman of the Union of Communities of Armenia Emin Yeritsyan issued a statement stating:

1. The RA NA convenes a special sitting, immediately eliminating the martial law.
2. All 3 factions of the RA NA nominate Major-General Grigory Khachaturov as a candidate for the new Prime Minister. All three factions must declare their unconditional support for Khachaturov’s government. At this stage, the country needs a non-political, trustworthy military figure.
3. The newly elected Prime Minister, starting consultations with the President of the Republic of Armenia and the political forces, proposes mainly a professional (if possible non-partisan) transitional government.
4. A political council with advisory status is formed under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia from among the representatives of the parties.
5. New elections to the National Assembly are held in the summer of 2021.
