The Health and Labor Inspection Body (HLIB) informs.
“At the “Zvartnots”airport and other border checkpoints, the HLIB border medical and sanitary checkpoints are already carrying out a new function․ They check whether the people entering the country have a maximum of 72 hours of Covid negative test and the documents proving it.
If so, the person is released from self-isolation. The established certificate or proof of sampling, together with the identification document, is presented to the HLIB and Police officers at the airport exit.
If there is no Covid negative test, the person must take the test at the sampling points located at the airport or land border crossing point. In that case, he/she is given a mandatory self-isolation order before receiving the results of the PCR examination, notified about the rules of self-isolation, the consequences of their violation, and provided a corresponding notice to sign, after which the police officer allows the person to leave the airport.
All citizens entering the country are immediately screened at the border crossing point (including remote thermometry, external examination, additional inquiries in case of clinical symptoms characteristic of the infection). According to the results of the examination, if there are corresponding symptoms, the person is hospitalized.
Hakob Avagyan, the head of the inspection body, observed these works of the HLIB at “Zvartnots” airport. The process was presented to him, the organizational issues were reported. An instruction to organize a new function precise and excluding the technical problems was given.”
