The Artsakh Defense Army has issued a statement, which says:
“The large-scale war unleashed by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan in the early morning on 27 September continues to this day, accompanied by numerous widespread violations by the Azerbaijani side of norms and principles of international humanitarian law, international human rights law and customary international law (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries, International Customary Law, etc.).
At the same time, in order to cover up or justify its war crimes, as well as to prepare the ground for new attacks on the civilian population, the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan resorted to propaganda of misinformation, accusing not only the military-political leadership of Artsakh but also the Armenian authorities.
Artsakh will resolutely defend the security of its homeland, its people, with all its potential, as well as hold the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan accountable for its war crimes and policy of turning our region into a hotbed of international terrorism.”
