The Initial Cause of the Explosions in Beirut is known: LBCI reports

One of the leading Lebanese TV channels, LBCI, has put forward a version of the cause of the explosions in Beirut, according to which sodium nitrate, which was confiscated from one of the ships more than a year ago, could have exploded in the port of Beirut. RIA Novosti reported.

LBCI has learned that the material that General Ibrahim (Lebanese Chief of Security, General Abbas Ibrahim) was talking about was explosive sodium nitrate that was confiscated from the ship more than a year ago and was stored in a port warehouse,”- the TV channel said, citing its sources.

It should be reminded that General Abbas Ibrahim had announced that explosives had been stored in the port warehouse.

Notably, there are victims and wounded as a result of the explosion. There are 2 Armenians among the wounded.
