Today, on 2 July, during the government sitting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that a deflation in prices of the mask has been registered in the country, and now citizens can buy factory-made masks for 60 drams.
“Initially, when there was a huge deficit in the world and the prices in Armenia were more than 200 drams, there was the problem to manage the situation in such a way that it should be possible to buy masks. at least for health care providers. The second stage was that there were already masks on the market, but they were quite expensive and we came to the conclusion that wearing masks should be made mandatory. Realizing the high prices, we said, well, those who have the opportunity to wear a factory-made mask, let them wear it, those who do not have that opportunity, let them wear home-made masks. Now we have a deflation and we have a proficit, and we can move on to the third stage, to call on all our citizens to wear only factory-made masks,” the Prime Minister said.
