A Guide to Preventive Measures for the spread of infections was provided to businesses

While maintaining the sanitary-hygienic norms of public catering establishments, outlets, and production facilities require regular disinfection, however, given the risk of coronavirus spread, the Food Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia has provided these food chain operators with the necessary guidelines and virus prevention measures.

The Food Safety Inspectorate reported

It has been instructed to more often than usual disinfect solid surfaces, tools, equipment, shopping trolleys, door handles and cash registers, ventilate all areas, place disinfectants and soaps in place, replace towels with disposable paper towels, and prohibit employees from entering the workplace with symptoms of airborne infections (sneezing, coughing, weakness, fever, etc.).

The Food Safety Inspectorate will oversee the compliance.
