As of 13 March, 2:00 pm, 292 Coronavirus tests were conducted in Armenia with 8 positive results, 2 of which were confirmed shortly. Patients are hospitalized at the infectious hospital. Only the patient with pneumonia feavers, the remaining 7 have no complaints. The Ministry of Health reports.
The last four cases have been linked to a new coronavirus confirmed with the Echmiadzin citizen who had been isolated days earlier.
It should be added that the laboratory tests of the citizens transferred to the quarantine zone on 1 March will be ready by the end of the day.
The Ministry of Health calls to:
- Avoid contact with patients with respiratory infections, if possible use personal protective equipment (masks),
- Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating.
- Do not take self-treatment if you have symptoms of wheezing, contact a doctor.
