On March 8, at 5:30 pm, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert that two alpinists (25 years old) were on Mount Aragats. One of them had a leg injury and was unable to descend on his own. Rescuers help was needed.
Emergency and rescue teams of MES Regional Rescue Department left for the scene.
According to the GPS coordinates from the alpinists, they are located in the middle of the northern peaks of Mount Aragats.
Rescuers found them near the 2nd Meteorological Station and escorted them to the ambulance.
