Hrayr Tovmasyan sued Nikol Pashinyan

President of the RA Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The Judicial Information System reports.

The appeal has been assigned to Judge Gayane Khachatryan of the Court of First Instance of Yerevan.

In the lawsuit, Tovmasyan demanded that Pashinyan apologize for the insulting statements and refute the slanderous information.

Notably, Pashinyan had announced that since May 2018, Tovmasyan has offered his services to the Prime Minister on a daily, weekly, monthly basis, saying that since he is the author of the text of the Constitution, he can tell about all the nooks in it. Later, on 25 January, Hrayr Tovmasyan announced that he would give the Prime Minister 20 days to prove his statements, otherwise he promised to sue him. As proof of what he was saying, Pashinyan had published information related to the a pen, which he received as a present from Tovmasyan.
