Anna Javakhyan, member of Yerevan Council of the Elders has appealed to Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan not to dismiss the children attending kindergarten due to missing as a result of illnesses.

The Iravaban.net learnt this from the council members.

“Since many parents have recently approached me, whose children have almost reached the threshold of 40 absents as a result of illness and may be dismissed from kindergarten, I have decided to revise the registration procedure of absents. No child gets sick of his own free will, and I think it is unforgivable to deprive a child of a kindergarten attendance because of illnesses he or she has, and constantly remind the parent to bring a sick child to a kindergarten. I attach importance to a systematic solution to this problem,” she said.
