Today, the NA President Ararat Mirzoyan at the start of the extraordinary sitting in the NA, announced that the author of the drafts included in the agenda recalled the drafts this morning.

“On the initiative of the NA deputies, a special session of the National Assembly was convened today, the agenda of which has two issues, but according to Article 68 Part 1 Point 7 of the NA Rules of Procedure, the initiator recalled the drafts included in the agenda of the extraordinary session this morning. Taking into consideration the fact that there are no drafts on the agenda, the sitting is considered closed,” the NA President Ararat Mirzoyan noted.

Notably on 5 February, the NA President Ararat Mirzoyan signed a decision:

“Taking into account the initiative of the National Assembly deputies to convene an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly on 6 February, 2020 at 11:00 am, and the decisions of the Council of the National Assembly of 5 February, 2020, ACO-007-L and ACO-008-L, guided by the Constitution of the RA Article 100 (1) and Article 41 (8) (2) of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly: to convene on February 6, 2020  an extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly as set forth by the initiator.
