As a result of the necessary investigative and other procedural actions carried out at the Armavir Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, a number of cases of having sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 16 were revealed. Her father has been arrested. The IC reports.

On 13 May, 2019, at 3:20 pm, the police received a call was received from the medical center that a 14-year-old resident of Armavir Marz, born in 2005, who was in a 22-23 week pregnancy, applied for medical care.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA Police under Article 141, Part 2, Point 3 of the RA Criminal Code, according to which the preliminary investigation is being conducted at the Armavir Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee. The minor girl was recognized as the victim.

During the preliminary investigation, on 12 August, 2019, the medical center informed that a minor resident of Armavir province had given birth.

Necessary investigative and other procedural actions were carried out in the criminal case, several persons were interrogated, blood samples were taken, and forensic–genetic examinations were assigned.

According to the results of the examinations, the father of the child is the father of a minor girl. The father was arrested.
