Principles of Corporate Codes of Conducts in the Companies

One of the key elements of a reliable and effective program for business organizations within the scope of anti-corruption compliance is the corporate behavioral rules.

The most effective approach to corporate behavioral rules is partnership, participatory investment, which provides for the principle of volunteering in the process of developing, implementing and applying the Code of Conduct. This approach is based on the need of employees’ understanding the necessity of comprehending company’s rules of behavior and their desire to bring their personal and common interests in line with their goals. In this case, the resource of the company becomes a voluntary initiative and general moral responsibility and respect towards employees’ personal moral norms.

The main principles of the approach to introducing corporate behavioral rules are:

Maintaining negotiation, participatory process at all stages of developing, implementing and application of the rules of conduct and ensuring transparency of these stages for employees,

Voluntary and free acceptance of the principles of behavior by all employees of the company,
Recognizing the equality of all employees in the process of applying the rules of conduct. It is important to emphasize the role of the company management, which should become a model and driving force of the use of behavioral rules.
