In his speech at the National Assembly, the candidate for the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, stated that there is an alleged criminal case against one of the MPs.

“It is 100% proven and we are waiting for an official response for 2 months. As soon as we receive it there will be an initiative to arrest the MP. It is a bribery matter. It is also slightly connected with a foreign diplomatic mission. It is already 3 months that this paper is not delivered; they are delaying.

This will be the largest bribery case of the 3rd Republic, which will lead to other high ranking officials.”
