On 21 June, Mr. Tevan Poghosyan, President of the International Center for Human Development, deliver a lecture on “The Experience of the International Center for Human Development in Public Control, Public Policy Development and Constructive Dialogue with the Government” for the participants of Yerevan CSO Incubator in the framework of the EU funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project.
“We, in our nature, behavior and structure, are a public policy research and analytical center. We have done a lot in the field of research, and the program budgeting has also begun from our office and we have achieved the result that the budget of Armenia for 2019 will be presented in a program budgeting format. We have been involved in regional projects, we have been engaged in public diplomacy, we have been the first to in the issue of improving the Armenian-Turkish relations,” he said.
Tevan Poghosyan also mentioned the works carried out with the government and what success had been reached in the adoption of various legislative acts. The participants presented the issues of their concern and interest related to the development of non-governmental organizations, public policies and the constructive dialogue with the government, as well as a few provisisons in the Law on Non-Governmental Organizations.
Civil society organizations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSOs’ capacity building and enhancing productivity.
