Armenian governors have large property. This article presents information on income and funds of the Governors of 5 marzes of Armenian.
Gabriel Gyozalyan, the Governor of Aragatsotn has one type of real estate. This is stated in his declaration.
On the date of assuming the office, on March 3, governor’s incomes totaled to 5 million AMD, 35 thousand USD and 3 thousand EURO.
Rubik Abrahamyan
Rubik Abrahamyan, the Governor of Ararat marz assumed the office in 2014. Assuming the office he declared one car FORD COURRIER VAN 1.3 model. In addition, he declared 7.6 million AMD, 33 thousand USD and 15 thousand EURO. On the date of assuming the office, his salary of the high official amounted to 2.1 million AMD; at the end of the year the funds of the high official increased and amounted to 10 million AMD, 35 thousand USD and 15 thousand EURO. His income increased as well and amount to 3.3 million AMD.
His funds increased by 400 thousand AMD during the next year. The income from remuneration for labor or/and other equivalent payments of the Governor was 5.8 million AMD, this means that the Governor’s monthly salary amounted to 489 thousand AMD.
Governor’s 26 year old son, Emin Abrahamyan has received 10 million AMD donations, while the other son Gor Abrahamyan, 11 thousand AMD donations. Moreover, this son is engaged in businesses. In 2014, he received 4 million AMD from his business, and in 2015 he received 1.5 million AMD incomes. By the way, the Governor is registered in other address, while the other members of the family are registered in another address.
Official’s wife, Naira Nersisyan receives funds under the line “other income”. At the end of 2015, her funds amounted to 18 million AMD, 16 thousand EURO and 21 thousand USD.
Ashot Ghahramanyan
In 2011, Ashot Ghahramanyan, the Governor of Armavir marz, had 15.6 million AMD; at the end of the next year 16.7 million AMD; in 2013 he had 18.3 million AMD; and at the end of the 2014 – 21.3 million AMD. In the previous year, the Governor’s income decreased reaching to 18.3 million AMD. His salary totaled to 6.2 million AMD, namely about 524 thousand AMD monthly.
His wife’s income, at the end of 2015, amounted to 21.3 million AMD, and the funds are relatively low. In 2015, her salary amounted to 1.1 million AMD.
In 2011, Rafik Grigoryan, the Governor of Gegharkunik marz was an MP of the National Assembly of the RA. According to his declaration, in 2011 he bought a car, Nissan Murano 2.0 model, for 18 million AMD and sold another property for 4 million AMD.
Rafik Grigoryan assumed Gegharkunik governor’s office in 2012. He declared 1 individual house, 3 plots of land. He did not declare any funds in 2011.
The strange thing is that the Governor did not declare any income in 2013, 2014 and 2015, but he had income of 6.1 million AMD annually.
Artur Nalbandyan
Artur Nalbandyan, the Governor of Lori marz received 50 million AMD and 80 thousand USD donations in 2011. That is way, his incomes drastically increased at the end of the year. Thus, at the beginning of the year, he had 3 million AMD and 2 thousand USD, and at the end of the year the funds increased to 53 million AMD and 82 thousand USD.
At the end of 2012, his income radically decreased, reaching to 2.4 million AMD. Instead, the funds USD increased from 82 thousand USD to 208 thousand USD. Actually, Artur Nalbandyan exchanged AMD to USD.
In 2015, the Governor provided his funds in USD as a loan, and received income of 5.5 million AMD. Till the beginning of 2015, the official’s wife had 6 million AMD, and at the end of the year, she did not have any income at all.
