Today, the Government approved the legislative package on the reforms in in the legislation on Notary System submitted by the Minister of Justice.
The justification of the draft informs that currently the Notary System lacks the one window principle, and the fact creates additional obstacles for the beneficiaries of the system. Citizens are forced to collect relevant documents from other administrative bodies to be able to use notary services.
The Electronic Notary System, which should allow performing notarial acts, approved by the signed electronic documents and thus excluding the possibility of falsification of the hard copies of documents, raise the security of transactions and ensure high quality services, does not work in Armenia as well.
