There is an information circulating on the internet that messages have appeared on the internet browsers of phones or private computers of many citizens, as if for entering sites containing pornographic materials for many times, the RA Police blocked the user’s computer and as a charge the user would pay 8.500 AMD. An account for payment is being sent to citizens with such a message referring to the Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code.
It should be noted, that Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code refers to the violation of traffic and vehicle operation rules.
We clarify, that the messages concerned have no connection with the RA Police, and the mentioned suspicious website, which the user entered by the link, may containe such a message planned to display software securing, and, as a result of the operation, the message has appeared in the mobile phone or in the computer.
The RA Police urges not to pay the required money and for eliminating the blocking of the Internet access clean the existing files of the Internet/cache/ which occurred as a result of visiting such websites and the extension files or to apply to the appropriate computer specialist.
